About Kathleen Hanvey

Kathleen moved to Littleton, Colorado in 1976 when there was nothing but pastures, antelope, and farmland between County Line Road and Castle Rock. She graduated from Columbine High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a minor in Psychology from Colorado State University.

 

Before starting a family, she was the Technical Publication Manager at Autodesk, then a Global Product Manager for Handmark, a mobile software company that specializes in the handheld computing platform (think Palm and Pocket PC) representing products such as Rand McNally Road Atlas, Scrabble, Monopoly, and Tetris.

 

While her two daughters attended the local Red Rocks Elementary school, Kathleen worked with students as part of the intervention team teaching reading and writing and later became the school’s communication and enrollment registrar.

 

Kathleen is a community builder at heart and is the Willowbrook Social Committee chairwoman. She is also the editor and resident writer for the local Red Rocks Views magazine. She is passionate about writing and marketing, and being part of the community. Kathleen is the marketing heart of our team and will be sure to put your home in its best light!

 

When not writing or working, Kathleen is an avid gardener and loves taking her two dogs for hikes in the private Willow Springs Open Space, water sports, skiing, and snowmobiling. She is a Colorado girl through and through. You can also find Kathleen enjoying happy hour at Red Rocks Country Club or attending concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
